Our Pastor

Dan Lindsey’s first Sunday as Pastor at Crossroads was September 3, 2023.  He was born in Ottumwa, Iowa.  In March of 1975 he trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.   He met his wife, Connie, at Ottumwa Baptist Temple, where she was born again at the age of 11.   They were married in June of 1979, after Dan graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO.

Before coming to Crossroads, Dan pastored churches in Washington State, Iowa, and Wisconsin for 38 years.  Then the Lindseys were rotation missionaries in Liberia, Africa for almost three years.

Their first daughter, Stacie, died of complications due to cerebral palsy at the age of 14.    They have three other children, which they homeschooled.   Heidi and her husband, Daniel, live in Wisconsin, and serve the Lord through Bible Baptist Church in Reedsburg.  Joshua and his wife, Heather, and their children live in Moorhead, Minnesota and minister at Fargo Baptist Church.    Amber and her husband, Luke, live in Fargo, North Dakota, and are serving Christ at Fargo Baptist.

Pastor Lindsey loves teaching God’s Word.   While some messages are topical, usually his sermons are expository and practical, verse by verse through the Scriptures.   Mrs. Lindsey is also deeply involved in the ministry, especially writing Bible studies and teaching women.
